Back from vacation means: to the gym
Our two weeks of vacation are already over and upon returning home I immediately miss all those delicious pastas, hiking sessions, and evenings gazing at the beautiful starry sky. And especially that ‘tranquil’ daily rhythm, where we participated in Otis‘ morning nap (at home you never have the time or peace for that) and only thought about our next meal, I miss that enormously. Time has certainly not stood still: the emails have piled up quite a bit and Jon has to get to work full speed for his next film project. Maybe we can try to maintain the same daily rhythm this coming weekend, although I can already think of ten tasks that are more important than a morning nap...
Starting tomorrow, you can indulge your heart with the latest collab from H&M with a true Dutch twist. This time Love Stories has joined forces and developed a beautiful, affordable lingerie collection. I have been a fan of Love Stories for a while and my collection was in need of some renewal, so I will be ready behind my laptop tomorrow morning to fill that shopping cart. And with that whole pajama style, this outfit can definitely function as a day outfit, right?
Back from vacation also means back to the gym. It may sound strange, but I really missed my weekly Rocycle class and training at Saints & Stars. Now I kept it up a bit on vacation with a daily DISQ ten-minute workout and I must say that it helped me feel fit. We consume a lot of pizzas, pastas, glasses of vino, and scoops of ice cream while on vacation, so a little workout was definitely welcome. I will certainly try to keep that ten-minute workout in now that we are back home.
This weekend, for the first time, the Vegan Food Festival will take place at the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam and that sounds like my kind of festival. Now, I am not vegan, but I do not eat meat, fish, or dairy several days a week. I could definitely use some inspiration in that area. Music, workshops, documentaries, and interesting speakers will provide a jam-packed program for three days. I will definitely take a look! August 10, 11, and 12, Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam
