Looking for wine

With our sweet little angel around, all holidays suddenly feel very different. In the past, I only looked forward to our traditional asparagus dinner at my mother's house during Easter, but with Otis in our midst, I can't help but go all out. Days in advance, the egg painting kits were ready, the Easter eggs were already hidden the night before in our house (for our nieces), and Jon was preparing pancakes, sandwiches, and fresh fruit salads for the whole family early in the morning. I can now enjoy the holidays so much more, and it feels like I'm reliving them a bit as a child again. But despite all the big preparations, this little Easter bunny undoubtedly stole the show!

It took us three years, but the end of our massive wine collection is in sight. Now we have reached the other extreme: the rack is completely empty. To get some new inspiration, I received dozens of responses on Insta Stories from everyone with their favorite wines, and now I'm busy researching our new addition. You secretly make me the happiest with a bottle of bubbles, so I couldn't resist stocking up on this already. If you have any fantastic wine tips; everything is welcome.

Last week, I got to shoot for a few days for ‘Flikken Rotterdam’. I've never played a public prosecutor before, so I can cross that off my list now. We shot a scene on a construction site in the middle of the city, and the skyline was stunningly beautiful: the city forms the beautiful backdrop for the series, and at times it looks like New York; I suddenly looked at Roffa with very different eyes. I should quickly book a weekend away again.

I would like your honest opinion on the Balenciaga Triple S, which has an incredible run: are they really that cool, or do they secretly look like difficult-to-wear shoes, making you feel like you have some clogs on your feet? For weeks, I've been looking at pictures online and keeping a close eye on all the sites, but I genuinely wonder if I'm being fueled by the hype or if I'm really ‘in love’. Now, I am quite sensitive to the word ‘exclusive’; my friend E and I get extremely hyped up by these kinds of terms and won't rest until we have the oh-so-desired product in our hands, but yes, for €650 I could also have a lovely weekend away with the family. It could very well be that you see me proudly posting on Insta next week, but maybe I'll decide against them... To be continued!
