Of course, my closet is full and is a result of a serial serious shopping addiction that I could blindly draw a diagonal line through and still get away with it reasonably. Moreover, if people don't understand it, I just say it's hio. Ha. But if it really were up to me, I would wear the same thing every day. That's my favorite jeans, now faded worn boots from Isabel Marant, my Gucci belt, and then the centerpiece, the softly knitted sweater from Marc Cain. That sweater, it has it all. It's cuddly, has the most beautiful neckline, wide flared sleeves so it still looks elegant while you're just wearing a wool sweater, and it's thin so you can easily tuck the front into your pants, making it all a bit less bulky.

The funny thing about this sweater is that I wore it for a shoot when it was outside, let's say, 39 degrees Celsius. That's what you get with winter fashion that has to be photographed in the summer. And even though I took it off immediately after the shoot and swapped it for a t-shirt, I bought the sweater right away. And now it's my favorite forever.

Not coincidentally, because Marc Cain has been the supplier of the best knits since 1973. Everything the German brand makes must be of the highest quality, but those knits have an extra special place within the empire. So special that they have their own knitting factory (in Germany, so for the people who work there, they are well taken care of) where they develop all kinds of knitting innovations and 3D techniques. This way, they can create a garment, like my sweater for example, in a production phase. Therefore, no annoying thick seams, no everything is made in one movement. Really bizarre, as clever as that is. The factory in Bodelshausen is even so advanced with their knitting developments that they can knit an incredible number of designs. If you thought that a rib knit or cable pattern or jacquard was complicated, well it might be, but not for our friends in Germany.
