If you suddenly have Videoland

At first it didn't matter, but at some point I felt a bit like an outcast. I was the only one on the editorial team without Videoland. Everyone was watching The Handmaid’s Tale, I wasn't. Nieuwe Buren was the talk of the day. I hadn't seen it. You had to be able to talk about Mocro Maffia. I couldn't. But now I'm team Videoland and I actually like it for this reason.

1. Westerly Wind
So it was definitely my favorite series back in the days. You can just watch them all again. With Inge Ipenburg! Where has she gone?

2. Search by actor
Suppose you're a huge fan of Fedja van Huêt. Well, then you search for his name and find all the series and movies he has acted in. Isn't that great?

3. Dancing on the Volcano
That's a Dutch film that just happened to be a graduation project from the Eerste Christelijk Lyceum, a high school near our house. I had actually seen the film on Netflix before, but it's no longer available there. It's on Videoland. So it's going to be nice watching it with my girls this weekend, because they are fans of the film.

4. Sinterklaas films
Videoland has a whole selection of Sinterklaas films. I'm going to lie by the fireplace on Sunday.

5. The Handmaid’s Tale
I could finally watch that now. I say ‘could’, because I don't know if I want to. What do you think? Should I, will I, do I want to?

And I could go on like this for a while. So if I don't pick up for a while, you know what it's about.
