Clearing all your unnecessary photos in 5 minutes: this app is brilliant
Step 1: go to your photo album on your phone. Step 2: look at how many photos are on your camera roll. Step 3: freak out. Bet? I’ll grab my phone right now. Yes, it’s ridiculous. 31,328 files. Thirty-one thousand three hundred twenty-eight. I mean: what even is that?
You have two types of phone people: those who keep their camera roll tidy and regularly clean it up, and those who leave every random screenshot and then get notifications about a ‘full’ phone. I probably don’t need to tell you which category I belong to. Are you on my team? Then I have a tip. An app, it’s called Gemini. And the brilliant thing about it is that it categorizes all your photos into:
1. ‘The Similar‘ (which allows you to clean up all the unnecessary similar photos from your selfie shoot and Gemini immediately tells you which ones to keep because they are the best)
2. ‘The Junk’ (think: screenshots, notes, and blurry photos)
3. Others (where I see all the ugly photos of, for example, products in the supermarket that I want to send to a friend)
I just deleted almost 400 blurry photos in just 30 seconds without any effort. HOW CHILL. A small downside to the app is that it costs money: 2.99 euros per month. But you can also first download the free 3-day version to see if you like it. Anyway, do what you want with it, but I’m telling you: you want this.
