Lange Frans on Lil’ Kleine: forgive or forget

For those who did not intune with 538 this morning: we catch you up. Lange Frans was a guest and performed his new song ‘Forgiven’. Is about his conclave with Lil’ Kleine. And if it's about Lil’ Kleine, then of course we dive in/in/under, whatever you want.

Is it a diss from Frans or just a nice way to deal with the hassle surrounding his former pupil? It is, Lange Frans says, not a diss, but he doesn't want to make a murder pit out of his heart and the track is to end it.

Of course you want to know what was going on between the two. Just looked it up for you. When I typed ‘what's going on’ on Google, the suggestion I got was: between Israel and Palestine. That puts things back into perspective, I thought. But then Lil’ Kleine, who is at odds with Frans. Turns out Baas B and Monica Geuze also have a stake in it. Lange Frans is said to have taken Lil’ Kleine under his wing as a pupil in the big artist world. Arrangements were made around a contract. Lil’ Kleine did not honour the agreements and never let us hear from him again. Lange Frans was not amused and the two have been dissing each other ever since. Is the short version though, the long one is a bit more laced with cussing and hissing so. Lil’ Kleine hasn't heard anything yet, by the way.
