May-Britt Mobach
There are those people who make you think every time you see them: just slide that outfit into my closet. Esmee Geeratz is one such case in my life. Not surprising when you're the fashion chief of &C, but still. And she's generous. She shares her secret spots and doesn't mind at all if you buy the same things as she does. When I last saw her at a lunch at Rijks (the restaurant of the Rijksmuseum, a must-visit if you love healthy and delicious food) to celebrate that &C had been around for a year (hooray), she was wearing this dress in red. With silver glitter boots underneath. More is more after all.
I suspected it was a crazily expensive piece, but it turned out to be manageable. Essentiel Antwerp, she texted me in the evening. Did she mind if I bought it too? Not at all, we’ll twin on our sunny trip. At the end of May, we’re going with Lancaster and other beautiful Coty brands to a sunny destination that, so tricky, is still a secret. We’re still fishing for the location, but the outfits are hereby confirmed.
The ankle boots are from Isabel Marant, bought at a sample sale. See, fashion doesn't have to be expensive. Oh yes, the bag too. That’s not sample sale material, but it will last multiple lives. So if you calculate the ‘costs per wear’, it's a bargain.
