Mays sun trip Diary

A fixed part of this annual trip, besides sunbathing-applying-sunbathing-applying, is the boat trip. A catamaran in Cape Town, a motor yacht in Greece. Yesterday we were greeted by a classic sailboat. And dolphins and whales. They were really there. All around us. Did you know that a whale (this was a whale family also known as the pilot whale) can live up to 45 years? And that mothers and children stay together for a long time? And that they can dive 600 meters deep? The captain told us all that. And also that the exceptionally cold is on the island. I considered saying that it had been the warmest May night in a hundred years in the Netherlands, but decided to leave it at that.

Cold, that was it the night before when we headed to the volcano El Teide to watch the stars. As if we were on the moon ourselves. Or better: a marriage between the moon and Easter Island, something like that. Surreal, beautifully intimidating and cold. As a result, we ran in circles and did jumping jacks. Anything to get the blood flowing. But it was worth it.

Honestly, in the afternoon the sun peeked around the corner and we could use all Lancaster products. If I have to choose my favorite, it's the BB cream for the face with SPF 30. Foundation and protection in one and the color blends perfectly with your own skin. I was also happy with the Lancaster Sport line that is water and sweat resistant. Because besides sunbathing, we also moved here. An hour in the gym in the morning and at five o'clock another yoga class. And then to the wine and cocktails, don't worry about that. Tonight we fly home. Can you please save that sun for us? You can have a lick of my sunscreen.
