Your car is your buddy. Starting the day together, waking up with Edwin Evers and a caffè latte on your lap, waving a bit to that cutie next to you in traffic and secretly putting on your mascara. You experience things together, just the two of you. In Me & My Renault, we portray not man and horse, but woman and car.

Tell me, how did this car come into your life?

To be honest, the Renault Twingo was not my first love. I was looking for a nice car with enough space and my husband pointed me to the Renault Twingo. With its tough appearance, fuel efficiency, small turning circle, and spacious interior, I was completely sold.

Are you a messy or a tidy driver?

Can someone just step into your car unannounced or do you need to tidy up first? At first glance, I seem to be a tidy driver, with a water bottle or a piece of clothing lying around here and there, as I sometimes have to change three times a day for my work. I am a weight coach and also work for various clients as a boot camp instructor or sports instructor, which means I sometimes wear different shirts or jackets in a day.

Is your car your moving wardrobe or are you very clean and neat?

Where I sometimes neglect my car is in regular washes or a trip through the car wash. For this photoshoot, it of course went through the car wash.

How many kilometers do you consume on average?

We have had an incredibly beautiful summer and therefore I have driven very few kilometers this year. In recent months, I have mainly been found on my mountain bike with my backpack on.

Fortunately, I work a lot in and around De Meern (Utrecht) and I can easily get around by bike. That does depend on the number of appointments that day, because if there are many, I take my Twingo and proudly drive with my logo and my roof open to the next client.

If someone is about to buy this car, why should they definitely do it?

If someone is currently looking for a small, economical, and sporty car, I would definitely recommend them to go to the Renault dealer to take a test drive in the Twingo. They will probably be just as quickly sold as I was.
