More drama for Riverdale

Riverdalers, listen up. Since the Black Hood story and the (spoiler!) murder of Midge, it may still not be entirely clear to Betty what her father has done. But one thing is certain: secrets about parents are in abundance. And what turns out? There is much more than just our speculations. In the third season of Riverdale, there will even be a flashback episode to the 80s called ‘The Midnight Club‘.

In the fourth episode of the new season, there will be a look back at the classic 80s movie ’The Breakfast Club‘, where the ’young‘ Riverdale cast will play their parents. Think of KJ Apa as Fred Andrews (Luke Perry), Lili Reinhart as Alice Cooper (Mädchen Amick), Camila Mendes as Hermione Lodge (Marisol Nichols), and Cole Sprouse as FP Jones (Skeet Ulrich).

‘We’re going to learn about a really, really dark secret in Riverdale that the parents have been keeping since they were in high school. So, basically, it’s ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer + your favorite John Hughes classic,’ say the creators of the series. And we thought that the worst mystery of Riverdale would be almost solved… More drama on the way. Available on Netflix starting October 11!
