According to Deadline, the contract negotiations between film studio MGM and Witherspoon (who is now 42) are almost finalized. The diehard Legally Blonde fans have been begging for a sequel to the popular film for years. In case you’ve lost track: in the first part, Elle is dumped by her boyfriend because she is ‘pretty but shallow’, after which she decides to study law at Harvard University.
