OMG: this family member of Modern Family does not survive season 10

Warning, huge spoiler alert. You might already know that a character from Modern Family kicks the bucket in season 10, but now we also know who. I personally think it doesn't have that much effect on the series, but if you're more into surprises: Stop. Reading.

It's about the mother of Claire and Mitchell and the ex-wife of Jay. Yes, the hysterical DeDe who made herself ‘immortal’ (not really) with her argument with Gloria in season one. Claire receives a call from her mother's new boyfriend with the sad news. DeDe dies in season ten, very curious what that does to the storyline.
