The jewelry you want to save for
Recently, the whole bunch from the editorial team went jewelry shopping. Or rather: my colleagues went jewelry shopping and I awkwardly wandered around. I don't often wear anything. Not in my ears, not around my neck, not on my finger. Only on my wrist.
Around my tenth birthday, I received my first watch (with ladybugs) from my grandmother. I didn't have a mobile phone yet, so it was pretty cool that I could at least keep track of the time. It made me realize how quickly (and sometimes slowly) a day can pass. A kind of power over all the other kids who didn't know what time it was at that moment. Nananana. Responsibility to come home on time after playing outside. From then on, my grandmother knew: this will be a tradition, a different watch every year. So as a watch expert, I can tell you that I've worn quite a few by now. Small, large, gold, silver, floral, with hummingbirds, with panthers; you name it, I've had it. And with each watch came a new memory.

Also a fan of watches? Then I have a tip for you: Raymond Weil. Yes, at some point there comes a time (ha, time!) when you deserve a real watch. One that you have to save for. One that you gift yourself for a special occasion, or just because you deserve it. And then there was the new Shine collection. Watches that live up to their name more than ever.
Yep, here comes the point where I'm officially talking to myself. You also spend it every now and then on a new designer bag, so why not a statement watch? Diamonds are a girl’s best friend, right? If you want to be fancy, you choose the model where the band's attachment is completely set with diamonds (and okay, if you listen to your savings account after the move, a slightly less flashy option is also an idea). Anyway: it’s been a while. You need a new watch. Without ladybugs. No, a chic, adult model. Maybe from Raymond (hears the Toppers in the background: “Shiiiiiine, Shiiiiiiiine!’). Okay, I'm going to save again. Project continues.
