Stars cook in their own kitchen

Whenever there's an overdose of chocolate, a gigantic jar of peanut butter, a crate of vegetables, or the latest pasta maker from Philips delivered to our editorial office, it usually ends up at my desk nine times out of ten. Of course, this is usually followed by: ‘Make something delicious with it, Siem.’ So when I received an email from our friends at Marley Spoon asking to test the new boxes, a dinner date was immediately attached. Do I mind? No! Because you know that the kitchen is my most visited spot in the house (okay, next to my mega comfy and neatly made bed, of course).

The new Marley Spoon dinner box is a special edition and contains a deluxe two-course dinner for four people. This time, you’re not buying a box because you want to quickly put a simple but still healthy and especially tasty meal on the table, no, you’re going for this convenience because you want to invite those friends over but don’t have time to think about what to put on the table and all the nonsense you need to get at home. But then why not just go out to eat? I hear you thinking… I don’t think so. Because after a long day at work, I find it much cozier to light the candles at home and linger at my OWN dining table. You also don’t have to worry about who’s the designated driver. And so my lovely colleagues gathered after a long day of typing for a perfectly cooked, creamy risotto with a rosé baked pork tenderloin and sweet, syrupy blueberry balsamic sauce. And what is a dinner without dessert? Absolutely nothing, if you ask Amayzine. So, warm from the oven, softly cooked pears, drenched in homemade salted caramel and vanilla mascarpone.

Just shoot a message to your friends and order that box. For just fifty-two euros, you can cook this intensely delicious meal for four. Eating out is more expensive and you roll straight into bed after dinner. The only thing you need to do is stop by the store for that perfect merlot. Enjoy your meal!
