The best vegan burgers in Rotterdam
Vegans from the country, you can safely leave Amsterdam now, because you can eat decently vegan in the rest of the country as well. And our neighbors from FavorFlav recommend the best vegan burger place in Rotterdam. Are you going to eat a flowery burger, promised.
In Amsterdam, there is already the Vegan Junk Food Bar, and almost every burger joint has a vegan burger on the menu. In Rotterdam, the first 100 percent vegan burger joint in the Netherlands is now opening: Flower Burger.
Who: Flower Burger
Where: Hoogstraat in Rotterdam
When: July 2018
What’s new?
The chain from Italy had no locations abroad yet, and that has now changed. Flower Burger is the first restaurant in the Netherlands that sells only and exclusively burgers that are one hundred percent vegan. Also very Instagrammable, because they all have a nice color.
On the menu?
Vegan burgers in all colors of the rainbow. The pink cherry bomb burgers are colored with cherry extract, the yellow spicy chickpea burger with turmeric, and the black flower burger with carbon. The chickpea burger also comes with a damn good onion chutney. Everything is homemade, including the sauces and buns.
Notable?
At the spot where Flower Burger is now located, there used to be a flower shop. Is this the origin of the name? Maybe. Owner Matteo says the name is derived from flower power. A movement where everyone was always happy. And of course, people should also become happy from his burgers.
