The Dutch model that everyone is talking about

New York Fashion Week is really thick on. One thing that always gives me a bit of Fomo. Everyone who loves fashion seems to be there, wearing the coolest looks and parading through the streets of Manhattan. I ate half a box of Dunkin’ Donuts yesterday. There has to be a difference.

Fortunately, there was the internet and we don’t have to miss anything from the whole rollercoaster. In fact, sitting front row behind your laptop is quite nice. And we can be proud again, because rightly so, the Netherlands is well represented during the Olympic Games for models. Who among the Dutchies stands out the most? Ha, my namesake Kiki Willlems. Two days ago she stole the show on the catwalk at Alexander Wang.

If you don’t know Kiki: the career of this girl from Mestreech has been in a kind of acceleration for about two years. Six months of exclusive modeling work for Saint Laurent, one campaign after another in her name, and now even found in the ’trending list’ of Models.com. I’m telling you: this Dutchie with flaming red hair is going sky high. We’ll keep an eye on you, Kiek.
