These old school hair accessories are making a comeback during Fashion Week

With New York Fashion Week in full swing, we can say on day number seven that nostalgia is a thing. And we’re mainly talking about the scrunchie, the headband, and of course the plastic hair clip (you know, when you attempt ‘showering without washing your hair’. We see the models off-duty with azure blue and yellow curls in their hair styled à la Balenciaga, spotting the Hadid sisters both backstage and on the runway with the headband combined with a casual bun, and the plastic hair clip is being bought again by many fashion girls thanks to Alexander Wang. And we wear it exactly the same way as in the nineties: you make a low ponytail, twist it up high, and clamp a giant clip in there.
