This is how you make that Monday very Friday-worthy

Monday and I, we can get along just fine. But if you're not ready to hit the ground running, here are some tips to make your Monday feel like the new Friday. It’s all a bit easier to handle when you stubbed your little toe this morning, spilled coffee on your white jeans, and kissed your bumper against the one in front of you.

  1. Make your Monday evening really feel like Friday. Choose your movies in weekend mode, prepare some snacks, pop open that delicious Chardonnay, light some candles, put on your sweatpants, and curl up.
  2. Or: go out. Call your girlfriends, book a restaurant, and sit down right after a day of working.
  3. Just skip the workout class, because you shouldn't want to do too much on a Monday. Actually, you’re treating yourself.
  4. Do some maintenance. Head straight from the office to the beauty salon and let the pampering begin.
  5. A bit late now, but a tip for more Mondays to come: make sure you have your to-do list ready for Monday by Friday. It’s all extraordinarily efficient, zen, and tidy.
  6. Stop whining that it’s Monday. It helps, believe me.
  7. And is your Monday still not fun to mold? Then think again about whether your job still suits you.
