This is Simone's new cooking hero

As you know, I have my list of celebrities that I have a soft spot for. Half of that list consists of males who can cook quite well. I mention a Mister Oliver, Ottolenghi, and the unmissable Mr. Locatelli. Recently, I can add another specimen to that list. Or should I say: specimenLET? He can play football, vlog, and cook, and as if that’s not enough, the little best man is also coming out with his first own book. I’m talking about the youngest member of the Kluivert family. There were many things I was occupied with during my tenth year of life, but cooking? Let alone writing a cookbook.

Little Shane is one of the youngest stars of the moment, his YouTube channel has nearly 50,000 subscribers, 170,000 people follow him on Instagram, and his bank account? It probably contains more digits than my meter reading indicates. The little know-it-all (if you’ve watched the videos, you know what I’m talking about) throws the necessary cooking videos into the world, can kick a ball quite well, and as a cherry on top, he has now also bundled all his cooking skills into a cookbook. How does he acquire those cooking skills? Just like his father's football skills. After training, he dives into the kitchen with dear old dad to grill a fish, stir-fry vegetables, or whip up a traditional paella.
