This is the Christmas card you want to send today
Come on, away with those lazy Christmas WhatsApp messages, this year we let ourselves be inspired by the good old memories and we will start writing again. A Christmas card is like a mini surprise on the doormat. A small work of art that surprises someone in a super personal and sweet way. Especially for a lonely elderly person.
Christmas is celebrated (for us this is a big ‘duh’) together with family and friends. But unfortunately, this does not apply to many elderly people. One million elderly people in the Netherlands are incredibly lonely (read: one in four). So there is likely a lonely elderly person living on every street, even around the corner from you. About 200,000 elderly people are even completely alone during the holidays. Very sad, especially because grandpas and grandmas are, in my opinion, the sweetest beings on earth are. By sending these people a card, they feel a little less alone. The National Elderly Fund and PostNL are therefore organizing a Christmas card campaign together.
Team Amayzine is already busy writing, will you join us? Write a sweet Christmas greeting before December 18 (so tomorrow). Stick a stamp or December stamp (more cards can go in one envelope) and send the card to the National Elderly Fund:

P.O. Box 115
3800 AC Amersfoort
P.S.: In previous years, it has been shown that elderly people really enjoy sending a card back. Are you open to this contact? Then please leave your address on the envelope or the card.
Small effort, very big gesture. Merry Christmas, dear everyone.
