Tribute to Jason

A book. So heavy and thick that you could use it for a workout. But of course, it is much too beautiful for that. Ten years of Denham the Jeanmaker, that had to be celebrated. So a fist-thick coffee table book was created that is sold at better bookstores (Mendo! Mendo!) and that Jason Denham himself signed and sent to a number of people. I was among the privileged people and I am proud of it.

Proud that the man who was destined to do this shares his success with me. I mean, if your name is Jason Denham you must be working in denim. His wife Debbie predicted it during their first date. In a gay bar (no idea why they were there) she told him that he would one day have his own jeans brand. As luck would have it, I was right. It couldn't be said more beautifully.

Anyway. Ten years of Denham, and many, many more to come. Cheers Jason, to you and your dedication. The truth is in the details.”
