A week or two ago, I organized the baby shower for one of my best friends. Her sister and I quickly agreed, we would do it at my place with the goal of achieving a ‘Pinterest perfect picture’. Mood boards were created and even color charts were brainstormed.

Today we are not going to talk about what gave this day a such an incredibly unpleasant turn, but about what made my friend A's baby shower an unforgettable cool, beautiful, and huge success. The answer is: sweet food styling. I bought garlands with gold written texts like ‘About to pop’ and ’Oh baby’, confetti balloons, the most beautiful paper fans, cupcake toppers, tassel garlands, a guest book, and my number #1 favorite: the golden flower backdrop pick & mix for the cutest photo wall background. Here and there a twig from my own garden, some helium in the balloons, a lot of love and voilà, one has a ‘picture perfect’ ready.
