Wearing lipstick for beginners
Or for your day off
When I sleep in until nine on a Saturday (that's long in my world), throw on some nice jeans and a t-shirt, and put little to no makeup on my face, then you know it's the weekend. Hair in a bun and keeping it easy, that's pretty much my motto. But secretly, I cheat. I confess: there are two things I can't leave the house without.
To start, I dab a little concealer in the corner of my eye to cover up some bags. It's necessary, I'm just being honest. And because I feel like I have a bare-faced look without lipstick, something has to go on my lips. It just makes you look a bit more festive, a bit healthier, and a bit nicer. I think so, anyway. I just don't want it to look overly done on a day off, so to speak. Just a little dabbed on, but without too much effort. Basically the Parisienne way. Also very suitable for beginners. And believe me, you want to start because wearing lipstick makes life more fun. Just read here what red does to your mouth.
For the dabbed effect, I always used to mess around with my lipstick. Smudging, fading, not applying much: it just never quite worked. But I have the solution, for beginners and advanced users alike. It's the Phyto-Lip Delight from Sisley. They come in #cool, #pretty, and #sweet, just depending on what you're in the mood for. The nice thing is that it gives a little color, but thanks to the nourishing oil in the Lip Delight, it also cares for your lips. A bit like your lips are having a spa day. I suspect it won't just be for Saturday and Sunday, but that it will also become my companion for weekdays. You can apply it to your lips blindly, and I think that's perhaps the easiest thing on earth.
Starting in June, you can throw the Phyto-Lip Delight into your shopping cart.
