WhatsApp comes with a brilliant feature

Just three seconds awake and already forty messages in the group WhatsApp: good moooooorning. On some days it's super fun and at other times incredibly annoying, those overactive group chats. It seems WhatsApp knows this by now, because they even came up with a new feature to create some peace in the tent. Here it comes. From now on, you can set it up as an admin (yes, only as an admin) of a group chat that you are the only person who can send messages in the group. All those enthusiastic responders are spontaneously silenced (and if you still want to respond, you can do that in a private message). This way, everything remains nice and clear without everyone having their say.

According to WhatsApp, it was mainly designed for chat groups that teachers use to keep parents informed, although I can secretly imagine that there are even more situations where this feature can come in handy… Want to enable it yourself in a group chat where you are an admin? You can find the feature in your group chat under ‘Group Settings’ and ‘Group Info.’ Let the dictatorship begin, suckerssss.
