Why I am always a little bit into Greece
And especially into this resort

Have I ever been to Greece? Ten times, I said proudly. Yes, ten times. The very first times still under the wings of parental authority, but after that, I just went by myself. Voluntarily. I am infected with the Greek virus, nothing scary about it, actually quite wonderful to have. And this is why I am always a little bit into Greece and I will reveal to you my brand new holiday address .
In Greece, you will find my secret holiday address
But I just said that. Where you can find absolutely everything that makes me always a little bit in love with Greece. The tavernas, a heated pool for when the sea is still a bit chilly, the sweetest crew you could wish for, clean rooms with a rain shower or a bath you can swim in. I never wanted to go home again, it was just that I had to.
Greeks are hospitable
If you go to the same little place in Greece twice, there’s a good chance you’ll spend half the time under the care of a Greek. Because you have to see this, eat there, shop here, and that one beach is really much prettier than all the others. At the Sani Resort we had a maximized Uber at our disposal, in the form of a golf cart, with a driver, the friendliest driver, who showed us the most enchanting places of all Sani.
Greeks have the sirtaki
And no one is ashamed to dance it. So we got the right steps in Ouzeri Psaroyiannos at Sani just personally taught by the waiters. We filmed, they filmed us. At the end of the song, we hopped around like real Greeks in the courtyard, with a waiter on each arm.
Greece is a picture
A whitewashed house with a blue roof, the sea changing color blue every hour, trees framing the perfect shot, Greece is beautiful.
Man oh man and the food
Just for that, I want to be there at least ten days a year. What those chefs do with feta, and with eggplants, and with fresh fish, and with tomatoes, my goodness. I hereby declare the Dutch cuisine the dullest ever, you want to eat Greek. Just a bit about tomatoes, we sat down at Tomato, which is in the top 25 of European restaurants, which I understand. Good God, forgive me my language, but I have rarely tasted something so delicious. The leftover was also worth photographing.
Greeks are relaxed
It’s in the Greek nature to take it easy, to be calm and to get you into it. They do have temperament, but at set times. You automatically go a notch calmer once you’ve landed. As if they have some calm hanging in the air. Ideal for when you want to shake off the stress after months of hard work.
So if you are still in doubt about where to spend your holiday… I recommend Greece, the Sani Resort in Chalkidiki to be more precise.
