Why we think of someone else during sex

Fortunately, it has never happened to me, but imagine lying in bed fumbling with your flame and at the moment of ooh and ah, you blurt out a different name than the one who is maneuvering on top of you.

Ouch. Every young man would hang from that within a second and a half, I can tell you that. A bit hurtful perhaps. Well, actually very much so. Fortunately, it doesn't happen often to say the wrong names out loud, but how is it that sometimes, during a sexual encounter, we do think about someone else quite often? It has been studied in psychology. You can't do much about it, it turns out. And it has nothing to do with cheating the end of a relationship.

Because even people who are in a happy zone of their relationship do this. Occasionally, secretly, unconsciously; it happens anyway. More than half of women sometimes fantasize about someone else during the act. Note: that is more than men fantasizing about other women. Only 42 percent of men do this. Naughty girls gather.

Who do we think about then? Sometimes they are complete strangers, someone we encountered on the train, the nice window cleaner from the neighbor across the street, or someone we saw sweating in the gym in the afternoon. But of course, acquaintances also pass by: usually, the fantasies are about friends or family members of someone's partner or a lost ex. Dare to sit next to that cute cousin at the Easter breakfast.

Well, don't worry too much about it, because so many people do it and it's quite innocent. It doesn't mean you don't love your partner enough, and it's really quite normal. It's the freedom you have in your head, which you also need, in any relationship. You just have to let your thoughts run free sometimes, who cares. No one in the world can read naughty thoughts, ha.
