Yolanthe and Wesley are having a baby

Yolanthe (33) and Wesley really want another child. But it doesn't come naturally and therefore they have made a brave choice.

The couple wants to adopt a child. It is Yolanthe's big wish: to have a large family. That time is now. She really wants Xess Xava to have a brother or sister. Therefore, the couple has started a long process for adoption. ‘We are now waiting to be called. It could take another two years before we hear anything,’ Yo says.

They took four years together to get their son Xess, who is now three years old. Yolanthe underwent hormone treatments for that, and her body changed significantly. It was also emotionally heavy. After a medical process came the big surprise: it finally worked. She was pregnant. Now she is less in a hurry with her second child. ‘If it comes, it comes.’ Because besides adoption, there is still the wish to become pregnant again, which is separate from each other. They want to have as much chance as possible to expand their family.

We find it incredibly brave that they are now sharing this news. Because do you know what it is? Having children is not something you just choose for. You don't plan it. It happens to you. And if it happens easily and quickly, then that is something very beautiful and you might hardly think about it. If it doesn't go that easily, it is incredibly difficult. That brings a load of sadness. A blow to your relationship. Especially if you want a large family. And you can be as famous, rich, and successful as you want; this is separate from everything. You cannot buy this or arrange it through others. You can only hope that it is granted to you. And for Yolanthe, it is so intense that it doesn't happen naturally; we can only empathize with a lump in our throat. We feel her sadness. You see how incredibly happy she is with Xess Xava and Wesley's son, Jessey. You wish her that large family, with three or four kids. We hope it works out in one way or another. It absolutely isn't due to your love, Wes and Yo.
