10 of the best Halloween movies to watch tonight

halloween movies available on netflix and videoland
It's Halloween. And if you don't have a vampire set of teeth or a bloody face planned for tonight, I can imagine that it won't look very spooky at your place at all. Well, we're going to change that last minute. And no, I'm not going to make you wear one of these genius outfits . If you pop the corn and gather the necessary trick or treat goodies, I'll list the best Halloween movies for us. From some newbies on Netflix to Paranormal Activity on Videoland. Who dares?

In The Tall Grass on Netflix
In this Stephen King adaptation, we see how Becky and Cal hear a cry for help during a trip in the American countryside (from yes: the tall grass.) And you understand: when the two go looking for the source of the scream, it's anything but pleasant.

Eli on Netflix
With his desperate parents by his side, an 11-year-old boy with a debilitating illness begins a grueling therapy in an isolated clinic with the end result: pure horror. Sorry, but if this film is already teased as one of the scariest films of 2019, you know you're in for a treat this Halloween with Eli.

Rattlesnake on Netflix
After a rather creepy guy saves her daughter from a deadly snake bite, a single mother must do something terrible in return... I immediately get the chills from that.

Gone Girl on Netflix
On the day they celebrate five years together, Nick reports his wife, Amy, missing. When the sudden disappearance of his wife gets an incredible amount of media attention, all evidence points to Nick himself. And now the question is up to you: was she murdered by her husband or not...

I Am The Pretty Thing That Lives In The House on Netflix
Lily is hired as a live-in nurse for an elderly lady who once had great success with her horror novels. But as she says: ‘A house with death in it can never be bought or sold by the living. It can only be borrowed from the spirits that remain.’ THE HORROR.

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension on Videoland
The Fleege family finds a video camera in their new home that can capture paranormal activities. There seems to be a rather dark vibe in the house. And guess what? Instead of moving, the family decides to fight against the evil.

Escape Room on Videoland
Four friends decide to lock themselves in a popular escape room ‘horror attraction’ in Los Angeles with a demonic killer. They have less than an hour to solve the puzzles and escape alive. Seriously? A demonic killer? Crying, so scary.

Jessabelle on Videoland
After a severe car accident that leaves her unable to use both legs, Jessie is forced to return to her childhood home in Louisiana in hopes of finding peace. Instead, she discovers some old tapes that reveal she has a gift inherited from her deceased mother. She is mysteriously confronted with her past and encounters a rather malevolent spirit named... Jessabelle.

You’re Next on Videoland
A family weekend for the Davidsons is brutally interrupted when a couple of mysterious apparitions appear. The masked figures are armed with axes and clearly have little good in mind, in other words: the family is in trouble. Maybe a little spoiler, but what happens next is so weird. Because just when the group expects to die a gruesome death far from the outside world, one guest from the family turns out to be the most ruthless killer of them all.

Poltergeist III on Videoland
A sequel to yes: Poltergeist 1 and 2 is here number 3, where under the leadership of Reverend Kane, the spirits no longer possess a house here or there but a total skyscraper. Carol Anne has been sent by her parents to ‘safe’ Chicago to live with her uncle and aunt. But the spirits have followed her, and Carol Anne discovers that she must fight against even scarier demons than ever before.
