An ode to Paris à la Chanel

Last week it was time for the Chanel Métiers d’Art 2019-2020 show, where the runway was for a change not far from home but simply in hometown Paris. The theme of the show ‘31 Rue Cambon’ perhaps reveals a bit where both the collection and the insane decor are inspired from: an ode to the Parisian roots of the fashion house. From a copy of the iconic staircase from Chanel's headquarters at yes: 31 Rue Cambon in Paris and chandeliers inspired by Coco’s living room to a lot of tweed, tailored suits, layers of chains and pearls showcased by among others girl crushes Gigi Hadid, Kaia Gerber and our Dutchies Kiki Willems, Felice Noordhoff, Marjan Jonkman and Luna Bijl. Curious about our favorite items and most striking pieces? I have gathered them for you.
