In case you also spent the day binge-watching Netflix: let me catch you up. So there was a kiss. Or rather, an attempt at one. It happened with a Dutch guy who was at the Top 2000 Café in Hilversum this weekend. When the cameras suddenly focused on him live, he thought it would be a grand idea to kiss the woman next to him on the mouth. Toen de camera’s ineens live op hem gericht waren, leek het hem een grandioos plan om de vrouw naast hem op haar mond te zoenen. Inclusief enthousiaste open mond en alles.

Even America noticed, because in no time the clip of the awkward kiss was on the social platform Reddit and was called the Daily Mail the Dutchie’s attempt ‘cringe-worthy’. There’s a flood of reactions on Twitter as well, with the recurring message: ‘I hope your 2019 starts off better than this guy’s’… Sorry, not laughing. Ha. Ha-ha. HAHAHA.
