Is Beau van Erven Dorens the new Mr. RTL Late Night?

It was of course only a matter of time before RTL would come up with this. We had to say goodbye to Twan Huys fairly quickly, leaving RTL without a late night show. And well, a somewhat decent channel can't do without it, that's what the big bosses at RTL agree on. And now they also have my personal favorite in mind as the presenter, namely Beau van Erven Dorens. I guess it's not just my personal favorite, because during RTL Summer Night he showed, in my opinion, that he is a great host. At that time, he also found it a bit of a bitter pill that it was not he but Twan Huys who became the new face. Understandable. I think RTL has also scratched their heads about that for a while...

But new round, new opportunities. Unfortunately, Beau himself doesn't want to say much about it yet. During an interview with Qmusic this morning, he only said: ‘We are in talks.’ So it's too early to celebrate, but I see this turning out well. He considered his guest appearance for Humberto Tan as an ‘open application’. I understand that, but what I don't understand is why he wasn't hired on the spot. I can only hope that he has laid down a list of demands at RTL, rightly so. They would be crazy to let him slip away again now.
