Bingewatch alert: Fleabag is the series you want to follow

Last weekend were the Emmys a.k.a. the most important television awards of the year. There were two big winners this edition, one we already know and one you absolutely want to know. The first is – not entirely surprisingly – Game of Thrones, who took home no less than twelve awards. But that second one is what I want to talk to you about. Fleabag won for best comedy series and you guessed it: this is indeed a very nice binge-watch tip.
Fleabag has kept a bit of a strange order. Two seasons have been released, the first in 2016 and the second this year. A long break, so, but the wait was clearly rewarded. This British comedy series revolves around the love life of Fleabag (Phoebe Waller-Bridge), a young woman who lives in London. This lead actress is also immediately the creator, producer, and writer of the series.
Fleabag has lost her best friend, has just been dumped by her emotionally unstable boyfriend, and is trying to keep her head above water in busy London. Each season has ‘only’ six episodes, twelve in total, and I obviously find that far too few. Believe me: this series is really funny and contains deliciously dry British humor. Praise it.
But, where you can watch Fleabag is indeed a little tricky. Nowadays we are quite overwhelmed with all the streaming services, but you can already feel the storm coming… This one is available on yet another streaming service. Amazon Prime, namely. Yes, I know, you have to get another new subscription. But a small consolation: for the first months you only pay €2.99 and after that €3.99. Still too much? Here’s a free tip: you can take a 30-day free trial subscription. And then binge Fleabag. You’re welcome.
