Knitting is the new Instagramming

I think we experienced the most beautiful Easter weekend ever. Man oh man, life is so nice with a beautiful sun shining. Friends came in and out all weekend to chill on the rooftop terrace and light the barbecue in the evening. What’s also nice is that the (now dusty) summer wardrobe can be pulled out of the closet again. If this is a sign of summer, then we’re just going to celebrate a non-stop vacation in our own city.

If you want to strike while the iron is hot, it’s Vogue Online Shopping Night, from 12 to midnight you can shop with significant discounts. I am so proud that we get to participate in this exclusive shopping event with Lemej. Today you can shop the entire collection on lemejamsterdam.com with a 20% discount using the code ‘lemejxvogue’.

When Jon told me he was going for a walk in Dublin with his best friend, I immediately started making plans to take a little trip with Otis as well. When we heard that my godmother was going to Ibiza exactly those days, I immediately booked our tickets. That was a good move: we are staying at the beautiful Can Sastre hotel, which has only five rooms, a lovely small pool, and is completely surrounded by greenery. The owners have two kids themselves, so there was immediately a full bag of loan toys ready. After days of rain, this morning started with a shining sun, so it looks like we brought the sun with us.

Last winter, I really got into knitting. Instead of aimlessly scrolling through Instagram or watching a series on the couch, you completely tune out and are wonderfully focused on your knitting pattern. I am not a knitting pro at all, but even as a beginner, you can get started right away with a knitting set from ‘We Are Knitters’. For the summer, they have beautiful items that you can knit from cotton. I have already ordered two sets, so bring on those sultry summer evenings on the roof.
