What happened? During a press conference, Hesdy stood up and shouted: ‘He was just better, man!’ Hesdy was of course talking about Badr. But yeah, don't say that kind of stuff to an athlete. World champion Rico clearly wasn't waiting for such a remark: ‘You should shut your mouth and just put on your gloves. A petition was submitted that was signed by tens of thousands of people and an open letter on behalf of hundreds of legal and psychological experts, former police officers, and prosecutors and experts. They all wanted to get him released earlier. According to all these people, he was forced to confess, while he is actually innocent. Phew. Not such a merry Christmas here.
