Coffee brewing talk: everything you need to know this morning

R. Kelly, Famke Louise, and Donny Roelvink in the picture.

Because we all love the drama. And of course: while we were napping, a lot happened again. Not only with us, but also on the other side of the world. Do you want to be able to chat at the coffee machine too? This is what you need to know.

Famke Louise is in trouble and is once again accused of plagiarism.

Deno Driz can't believe his ears when he is pointed to the song ‘Faka’ by Famke Louise via Twitter. Huh? But... uh. Well. Let's be honest: this really looks a lot like his hit ‘Londen.’ And so he lashed out, writing ‘I want my money on Monday’ under the photo of Famke, and then she casually responded with: ‘Deno, I heard you want my money. I'm on my way with my boat, I hope you don't mind that I'm only wearing a swimsuit.’ Anyway, I would say: judge for yourself.

A sequel to Surviving R. Kelly is coming.

The new program will have four parts and will be called Surviving R. Kelly: The Aftermath. In Surviving R. Kelly, a significant number of women accuse singer Robert Kelly (in case you want to know what the ‘R’ stands for) of sexual abuse, abuse of power, and sex with minors. Oh, and bizarre but true: thirty million Americans have seen the six-part documentary. It also led to a 35 percent increase in calls to a sexual abuse hotline in the United States. The musician still maintains his innocence.

You can sign up now to appear in Donny Roelvink's clip.

Just so you know: the clip for the song ‘Blokkeren’ will be filmed this Saturday at a beach party, he says on his Insta. So. Are you at least 21 years old, have loose hips, and feel like partying? Email to clippenmetdonny@gmail.com and who knows, this might be your breakthrough, wifey. Go for it.

BAHATI OR SIMBA?: The world’s most famous lion cub may have gotten some of his moves from our very own Bahati! When Bahati was just a month old, we provided Disney with video of her movements for their animation team to use for motion and behavior reference when designing Simba in The Lion King. From walking on wobbly new legs, to licking milk droplets off of her face, we captured every moment, no matter how small. So now you MUST go see Disney’s The Lion King (opening today!), and let us know if you see any bit of baby Bahati in Simba. – P.S. we’ll be at Alamo Drafthouse in Lake Highlands this afternoon before the 4 pm showing! Stop by to get up-close with some of the animals on our Animal Adventures Outreach team.

Ah gus: this cub modeled for Simba in The Lion King.

We all thought it. Sorry, but HOW did they do this? HOW can you make such fluffiness look so intensely real? Well, for baby Simba, Disney drew inspiration from a real lion cub from the Dallas Zoo. This allowed the creators to better observe how a cub really moved, and they based Simba's appearance and maneuvers in The Lion King on that. The cuteness.

Oh yes, and it's going to be intensely sweaty weather today. But you probably already noticed that. Drink enough, okay!
