Driving anxiety? Renault to the rescue

Confession: I am a panic frog behind the wheel. Geographically challenged too. I can literally get lost in my own neighborhood. Great that you get your driver's license in one go, but if you then remain a public transport girl without a car and barely crawl behind the wheel, it can happen that you develop a stupid fear of driving. Well, I've got that.
Every now and then, May lends me her beloved mint green Renault TWINGO (a.k.a. Twiggy) to practice a bit, and every time I hand in the keys, I think: ha. See? I got this. It will probably never become my favorite hobby, but if I do crawl behind the wheel, I prefer to do it in Twiggy. She’s my girl on the road and this is why.
1. She helps with the speed
As a beginner driver, you really don't want to multitask, you're just happy that you're driving straight (and um, staying on the road at all). How chill is it when you have on your screen how fast you are allowed to drive? Just like that cruise control with speed limiter. I-de-al.
2. She warns about things I would otherwise definitely crash into
Parking sensors in the back with sonic display. Yes, those beeps. How could we ever live without it? For that pole you just didn't see or those bushes that suddenly are way too close.
3. She makes parking heulll easy
Every spot on the canal where someone else thinks: nah, that won't work, I can just turn her little butt in there. Hoppa. Moreover, the TWINGO has the smallest turning circle ever, allowing you to make almost every kaa-uu-tee turn without extra steering.
4. She gives a signal when it rains
TWINGO knows that I have eyes too, but she also knows that multitasking is still a bit of a thing when we are out together. So she’s got my back when it starts to drizzle and turns on the wipers herself. Sweet.
5. She shifts for me – maybe the most important thing
Something I didn't want at the beginning of my driving life because ‘I had to and would do it myself’, but now I am quite content with the idea that everyone has their own strengths and shifting is not one of mine. Really, the biggest tip I can give you if you have sweaty armpits behind the wheel: opt for a Renault automatic. It's so nice that you'll never want to be without it again.
