Voila: your newest series to get addicted to

trailer new netflix series trinkets

Just before summer, I always find it a bit of a cucumber season. In terms of everything really. And now is the summer in our little frog country often not so tropical that you sit outside comfortably day in, day out. All that hanging out on terraces is of course not always very favorable for your financial situation. And worse: while I'm writing this, I have a gigantic sunburned forehead from sitting too enthusiastically in the sun. Because yes, at the first ray of sunshine, I want to get everything out of it (and I'm too stubborn to put on sunscreen) and I keep telling myself that my skin really doesn't burn that quickly. I said so nicely yesterday: ’in the evening a little tomato, in the morning a little chocolate.’ Well, that tomato has just stayed and is now dark red. Conclusion: today will be a Netflix day for me.

And Netflix days are very welcome for me during the cucumber season, so I'm always very happy with new tips. From June 14, I have one for you again: Trinkets. Strange name, sounds more like a kind of cartoon to me, but it really is fun. Trinkets is about three girls Elodie, Moe, and Tabitha. They don't know each other at first, but they end up in the same support group because they are kleptomaniacs Not really successful ones, as they have all been caught and are required to attend such a support group.

With such a shared passion, it doesn't take long before they become friends, or rather: partners in crime. Because that support group doesn't really work against stealing, they actually decide to challenge each other in this. ‘Let’s see who gets the best stuff in the shortest amount of time.’ Challenge accepted. I always got nervous when I took an extra candy at Jamin, so I would never dare to do this, but that also makes it fun.

Okay, from June 14 then. I predict a binge-worthy series that you can easily fill a Sunday afternoon with. The first season has ten episodes, so you can fill quite a few Sundays with that. Maybe not so smart to use it as inspiration for your inner kleptomaniac, although I’m not sure if you have a Shoplifters’ Anonymous in the Netherlands. And if so, it will probably be a lot less cozy than at Trinkets. Just watch safely for the TV then.
