In the past, I was a good photo book maker. But as the years go by and the number of children increased, I got worse at it. The self-imposed rule that I could only go on vacation again once I had finished the photo book from the previous vacation, I threw out years ago with my Isabel Marant boots. Reason? If I did it, I wanted it to be fun. And if I wanted it to be fun, it was a hassle.
Why were those thumbnails of your collected photos always so damn small? Why was the layout always so boring? Why did the examples look quite nice, but why could I never find out how I did that myself? And why was it always so intensely ugly when I chose ‘auto-fill’? And so I wanted to determine the layout myself and insert the photos one by one and again saw nothing because of those small k-thumbnails and ‘well, forget it’ and ‘figure it out yourself’ fought for first place.
Until the day before yesterday when I blew the dust off our old photo books and we sighed about ‘how nice it is, such a photo book’ and ‘did all this really happen during that vacation?’ and the ‘do you remember’ and ‘how small they were’ and I realized that I had to take action now. I had already dutifully created a folder of the best snapshots from this vacation. Now just a good digital provider. I searched Google for the best and most user-friendly album maker and the Consumers' Association tipped me the Fotofabriek.nl. And yes, the miracle exists.
They have large thumbnails, fun (I repeat: FUN) images that you can add, different types of layouts that you can customize to your wishes and taste, all fun fonts to choose from and, hooray and hooray, when you press ‘auto-fill’, Fotofabriek really makes something nice out of it. You now have no excuse not to do it. Because memories need to be bundled.
