How Harry’s cousin suddenly got half a million followers

Everyone born in the seventies remembers the funeral of lady Diana and the words of her brother Charles Spencer. They were not mild, not gentle, and not for the faint-hearted. He was angry. At his ex-brother-in-law Charles. At the royal family. And he (not exactly from the streets himself) saw no reason to hold his tongue.
He made an impression on me that couldn't be erased. Life went on, as did his. He married model Victoria Lockwood and she gave him a daughter, lady Kitty Spencer.
Kitty grew up in reasonable anonymity. Her Tripp Trapp chair was in South Africa, far away from the paparazzi. But at her cousin Harry's wedding with Meghan Markle she was of course on the guest list. And the anonymous life was gone. When she woke up the next day, she suddenly had 500,000 followers on her Instagram account. ‘I thought I was on someone else's account,’ she tells in an interview with Vogue Australia. ‘It felt a bit scary almost, like everyone was looking into my life.’
All those 500,000 people saw shows that Kitty walked for Dolce & Gabbana, trips to Capri, races at Apcot, and childhood photos of Kitty that she describes herself as ‘idyllic’.
Meanwhile, lady Kitty has gotten used to the attention (‘I get so many nice reactions from people’) and the attention has also decreased a bit because Kitty has lost 12,000 followers. But hey, she does have the coveted blue checkmark, Helena Christensen likes her photos, she has added me since today and hopefully you too.
