I have quite an evangelical side to me. If I find something incredibly nice/easy/life changing, then I think you should do it too. Or at least know about it. I think that's why Philips asked me to become an ambassador for their Sonicare toothbrush (think of it as the Chanel of toothbrushes) to tell you why it's so nice/easy/life changing.

Aside from its handsome appearance (how nice does this black boy look in your bathroom, with the induction charging glass (just saying) it also has truly incredible qualities. Here are some facts that blew me away.

1. It makes 62,000 movements per minute.

2. A brushing session with the Sonicare is equivalent to (and here it comes) a MONTH of brushing twice a day for two minutes by hand.

3. I repeat: a brushing session with the Sonicare is equivalent to a MONTH (a m-o-n-t-h) of brushing twice a day for two minutes by hand.

4. After a week, your teeth will already be visibly whiter.

5. On average, we brush with a manual toothbrush for only forty seconds, the

Sonicare helps you reach the two minutes because it only stops after two minutes.

6. The Sonicare has different brushing settings that you can use depending on your needs. White, deep clean, gum care, etc.

7. The Sonicare comes with three brush heads so you, your partner, and a third wheel on your cart can all use the brush. As soon as you put your brush head on, the Sonicare will recognize your brush and start your program.

8. And the Sonicare also has a pressure sensor, so the gums and teeth are protected from brushing too hard.

Anyway, is it amazing or is it great? Because I really believe in experience and word-of-mouth, we organized (well, they mainly did it, just like they can) a lunch with fifteen new Sonicare ambassadors. Those were our readers. We gathered at The Conscious Club on Amsterdam's Lauriergracht. There I could happily preach the gospel of Sonicare, eat a delicious organic and vegetarian soup and the best salad ever, and listen to Lienke de Jong. That was something Daan and Annick thought of as a bonus. Because what do you do first when you wake up? Brush your teeth, yes. And who is glued to the early morning like Victor to Rolf and Jip to Janneke? Lienke. She started her blog years ago as a joke. Danielle and Annick Dear Good Morning where she encourages people to seize the morning just like she does. Her alarm goes off most days of the year (thankfully, she doesn't always manage, she turns out to be human, sort of at least) at half past five (5:30 indeed) adding 240 extra hours to her life. She turned out to be just as much of an evangelist as I am, because I'm typing this at six o'clock (yes, 6:00 AM) in the morning. Because I could also use some extra hours and nothing fits at the top of the day, so I take an extra moment at the bottom of the day. Anyway, it was so fun and cozy, inspiring and motivating. Our too-fun ambassadors left the club with the Sonicare in their arms and had never looked forward to a brushing session so much. In a month, you'll hear their stories and then they'll get another Sonicare to make someone else happy with the best toothbrush in the country.

I feel incredibly like Sinterklaas. But with cleaner teeth. At least, that's what I'm assuming. Have a nice day.
