A word about Miljuschka Witzenhausen

On the app, the message came in on Saturday morning that Miljuschka was going to talk about her family for once, about her mother Astrid, about her uncle Willem Holleeder. The country's biggest criminal, who received a life sentence on Friday for five murders, including that of her uncle Cor van Hout.
I read the first book by her mother Astrid, Judas, in one go. Just like the second one. While reading, I was already wondering. How much danger does Miljuschka actually face, with such a public existence? Did she do anything to ensure she stayed out of sight? The answer in de Volkskrant the weekend of Miljuschka and Astrid was clear: yes, they did. But Astrid stops hiding, because her daughter is at greater risk because of it.
Not getting a job because you happen to be the niece, always having to look over your shoulder, trying to hide where you live, not being able to take a selfie with your mother when you go on vacation together. Always having to think about how to make your life as untraceable as possible. And in the meantime, finishing high school, starting at TMF, doing Onderweg naar Morgen, writing books, being the presenter of your programs at 24Kitchen, expert at the RTL Boulevard desk… What a woman, what women. Because that was evident from the interview.
Mother and daughter are counting on Astrid's liquidation, they tell the Volkskrant, because the verdict of brother Willem was the death sentence for his sister due to her testimony. The photos show how close the two are, but also how strong, because that radiates from the pages. At countless more meetings at tompouce or cheese cake (as they call the secret meeting places) for you.
