Laughing out loud at @Bassmit

Bas Smit is an unintentional celebrity, you could say. A guy with a behind-the-scenes job, but coincidentally with a famous woman by his side. And that famous woman, Nicolette van Dam, of course has famous friends. And those friends become friends of Bas. Et voilà, suddenly you are an Insta phenomenon with almost 350,000 followers.
Bas is not shy about poking fun at himself, and he is also not the worst at getting involved for a good cause. When their niece fought against cancer, he decided to sell a Bas Smit Tee. His face on a T-shirt and however it could be, it became a hit. Everyone wore ‘a’ Bas Smit on their belly and with that he raised 60,000 euros that all went straight to the Princess Máxima Center to buy even nicer playground equipment and a great aquarium.
Now there is something with Bas's leg. I don't know how it happened (I'm an occasional follower), but I suddenly saw him horizontal in a hospital bed. A Story further on Nicolette's account, I saw that Bas was already a bit on his feet again and she made a funny gif of it. One with Bas swinging his hips who smoothly moves a vacuum cleaner back and forth. And that gif spread faster than the mumps, because it popped up everywhere. @Bassmit vacuuming an empty airplane, @bassmit on Hollywood Boulevard, @Bassmit next to a swimming pool.

@Bassmit is just the new gnome from Amelie (remember? The gnome who goes on a world trip and takes a photo of himself from every special place in the world and sends it back home). I'm still waiting for @Bassmit in Mark Rutte's tower, in Donald Trump's oval office (maybe he can vacuum his wig), in the Vatican, on the Dolce & Gabbana catwalk and maybe as a dessert on September 22 at the Singapore circuit. For now, I can still really laugh out loud about it.
