Long live the woolen dress

may laughing in a woolen marccain dress

A big plus of autumn is that you get to buy a new wool dress. Because it can go anywhere. From boardroom to bank, from cinema visit to forest walk. A tough ankle boot underneath or an elegant, slim version to the knee, a sneaker; anything goes. I also think it embraces every figure. If you find yourself on the skinny side, then it makes the wool dress you softer. For women with curves, the curves look their best.

However, it is important with wool. It shouldn't itch, it should feel soft, the wool shouldn't have too much volume (otherwise there's a risk you'll be cast as a new Sesame Street character) and the seams should be soft.

I give Marc Cain a ten with a sticker from the teacher. They are truly by far the best at making wool clothing. They continue to research knitting techniques and even have a machine that knits 360 degrees around. Goodbye to those thick seams, just a delicate wool dress with the perfect cut. They also knit their sweaters, cardigans, and dresses partly in their own factory and some pieces are even 100% Made In Germany; the label that this dress also carries.

So if you see me more often this winter in this ensemble forgive me, okay. You know how it is. You won't find anything better and more comfortable, actually.
