Love for Gigi

We need to talk about Gigi for a moment. Because man, she is utterly cool in this fresh fashion week. It all started with the own collection she designed with Reebok. I don't think the collection is the prettiest I've ever seen, but when Gigi wears it, you want to buy everything immediately. How nice would it be if we could get that body too.

Next, we see her as one of the many top models in the Prada campaign, photographed by the Flemish photographer Willy Vanderperre, where she shines and glimmers like a contemporary Twiggy (check those eyelashes!). Then the cover and the inside of ELLE USA where she shows that big earrings and the beach go perfectly together and she brings the ’80s back for good with her extremely high-cut bikini bottom and pink satin jacket with shoulder pads. Man, she is stunning.

And then she kicked off New York Fashion Week the day before yesterday with the Tom Ford show, where we saw Gigi in a red-on-red tuxedo. Velvet jacket, satin shorts with a pantyhose that can also be seen with the open toe. Carine Roitfeld (here I wrote about the style things you can learn from the queen of fashion) did the styling, so if she says it’s allowed, we humbly follow.

Gigi thanks designer, stylist, and casting agency as befits a top model. ‘Forever grateful, I love you all so much.’ Gigi, what a sweetheart you are. If only everyone were as grateful and hardworking as you.

P.S..: I have met Gigi quite a few times and this is what I learned from her.
