Meghan and Harry officially break the world record on Instagram

Sussex Royal was what I was missing on Instagram. A page about every sigh and royal fart that Harry and Megs let out or find important. The day Kensington announced the separation between home, hearth, and Instagram of the Fab Four, I was happy. In the context of the more royals to spot, the merrier.

The world shared my opinion, as the account gained in a short time so many followers that they achieved a world record in the Guinness Book of World Records. Within 5 hours and 45 minutes, the couple gained 1 million followers. And I was struggling with almost a year of just under 800 followers; the difference is clear. Now, I don't expect a royal baby from Prince Harry, I didn't play the role of Rachel in Suits, so I can somewhat imagine how it comes. But Guinness reports that such a feat has never been accomplished before in the world of Instagram, for which a compliment, stickers, balloons, and thus that honorable mention. The count for Harry and Meghan is currently at 4.3 million, I wonder when they will surpass the Kensingtons with their 7.5 million followers. We suspect on the day they announced the birth of the smallest offspring. By the way, Instagram also briefly expropriated the original owner of the SussexRoyal account, namely a British driving school owner, who suddenly saw that Harry and Megs took off with his name without any notice from Insta. He is honored, but also a bit irritated about the situation, he reported to English media. Acknowledged.

The Duke of Sussex has proudly been patron of UK based organization Well Child since 2007. Over 100,000 children and young people are living with serious illness or exceptional health needs across the UK. Many spend months, even years in hospital vs at home because there is no support enabling them to leave. Well Child’s vision is for every child and young person living with serious health needs to have the best chance to thrive properly supported at home with their families. Both the Duke and Duchess attended the Well Child Awards in the winter of 2018, supporting the incredible families and children who benefit from the Well Child programs. For those who have inquired, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex ask that you consider supporting @wellchild and three other select charities in lieu of sending baby gifts for their upcoming arrival. Thank you for the support and kindness! Photos via: @wellchild #worldhealthday
