Moet bezoeken: Tianzi-bergen in China

Sometimes you come across places that make you want to Google. You just can't wrap your head around the idea that nature ever thought of and created this. The Tianzi Mountains are one such place. You do have to go to China for it, but then you'll see something you won't see in Lutjebroek or on the peaks of a Swiss mountain range. The mountains are located in the Wulingyuan area and are about 400 million years old, formed by the shifting of the Earth's crust and millions of years of erosion, and you won't come across anything longer and thinner than this quickly, I suspect. You have a view over the pillars from Tianzi Mountain, of which the highest peak rises 1262 meters above sea level.
