Hallelujah: a diet with bread

Best read May with her hands and her phone sitting in a chair with lights

Because your 2018 must have been as busy as ours and you might have missed a bit: this is one of our top scorers of the year. Just to dive in a little more.

Off to the bakery and just grab those half loaves. What am I saying? Just make it a whole loaf. Our friends from FavorFlav whispered a diet to us, with bread. Could it be? Could it be? Just give it a try.

Suddenly everyone stopped eating carbohydrates. Bread is the devil, and if you eat pasta? Then you might as well just eat a few hefty scoops of sugar. Whatever. Carbohydrates are delicious and luckily there is now the Super Carb Diet.

Bob Harper, former coach on the Biggest Loser program, has released a diet book in which he absolutely does not shy away from carbohydrates. Unfortunately, the diet does not consist solely of carbohydrates, but states that you should maintain 40 percent protein, 30 percent fat, and 30 percent carbohydrates to lose weight. Why is it called ‘super carb’? Because you need to eat so-called super carbs.

Fiber, fiber, fiber

Under super carbs fall carbohydrates that contain a lot of fiber, such as whole grain bread, brown rice, lentils, and beans. Furthermore, it is important that you eat as few processed products as possible. Not very revolutionary if you ask me, it just sounds like common sense. But if he has helped so many people lose weight, then he must be doing something right.

Diet bread

Anyway, grab a nice loaf for yourself under the label of diet on your next shopping trip. We are definitely going to do that.
