Must visit: this town in Santorini

In the category ‘this is something you must see once in your life, bucket list material and books but’: the town of Oia (pronounced Ee-ya) on Santorini. I was lucky that my best friend got married on the Greek island, which allowed us to hang around for a few more days to recover from the party and discover this ridiculously beautiful piece of Greece. The bus connection is great, but you can also rent a car yourself. Small tip: if you're going to Oia, go early. Around noon, the tour buses spit out loads of cruise ship tourists here, but until then it's a-breath-taking. The white houses, the blue roofs, the mills... Oh, just take a look for yourself and go.
