People who do not exercise are happier in love

The last time I squeezed myself into a pair of sports leggings was actually not long ago: just this week. But the last time I actually went sports in those leggings, uh…
A little longer ago. Such leggings are just good for lying on the couch. But if I may believe science, I currently have a very good relationship and can my love life couldn't be better. Because people who don't exercise are said to be happier in love. In fact: the happier you are with your love life, the less often you hang out at the weights. And that makes sense.
You are satisfied with your body and your physique if your partner is too. So if your love respects you, you find it easier to participate. You feel appreciated by your partner and you don't feel like you need to change anything about yourself or that he prefers others who do have size XS and are bouncing daily at the Rocycle (I have no idea if you bounce there, because I've never been) more fun. It works both ways: you are also in love with your partner, so your lover doesn't need to start those expensive subscriptions either.
Look, that not only saves time and money, but also a lot of energy. And the energy you have left can be invested back into your relationship. Winning. And if you still want to stay fit (and use that legging for what it's meant for...), then working out together is the key to success. Scientific research shows that couples who do the same sport together, like tennis, badminton, or water ballet, stay together longer than people who don't have such a shared hobby. And doing a sport together also increases the chance that both of you will actually go for it.
I will send my husband a link to that trendy Rocycle that you can now find all over Amsterdam. Sounds fun if we've at least been there once, right? Nice plan for 2020. Because let's not exaggerate: going this year doesn't really make sense anymore.
