Everyone has such an unrealistic little fear that you are always ashamed to tell about. For example, I am really terrified of fish (alive and dead), which is why I haven't swum in the sea for about a decade. I call that 'wild water' and you won't find me in it. In a swimming pool, however, I can entertain myself for hours. Often, people don't understand that phobia; I don't even understand where it comes from, but well, it's there and I refuse to step into that wild water. Still, there are a number of phobias that everyone has a bit of trouble with, I think. And some people more than a bit. So, as of 2019, there is a name for every type of phobia, so I've lined them up for you. Read and recognize. 1. Trypophobia.

This phobia has gained a lot of attention since.

the latest iPhone The reason: the three cameras on the back trigger trypophobia in many people, which is a fear of objects with small holes. Google at your own risk; I get so uncomfortable from those photos. I can handle holes in beehives, but in palms, flowers, oh, I really disgust that. 2. Nomophobia.

Everyone has this, or at least about 90% of society. This is the extreme fear of not having.

phone reception. Not having a charged phone. Not having any call credit left (does anyone still have call credit these days?). It is estimated that about 50% of phone users have this fear to some extent, but I think it's much higher. The horror of your phone dying when you're out and about. 3. Thalassophobia.

Do you think I'm being dramatic because of that wild water: fine, but I dare bet that most people also have a bit of trouble with this phobia, even if it's just a little. Thalassophobia is the fear of the deep sea and/or ocean. Because you can't see the bottom, you don't know what's living under you, and you could drown. I always find it impressive when people dare to jump off a boat in the middle of the sea without a care. I don't know, but that water is really dark blue, so really deep. Not for me.

4. Aerophobia.

The name says it all a bit, but this is the.

fear of flying , not unknown to many people. Flying is definitely not one of my favorite hobbies. Luckily, I had a pilot as a lover whom I bombarded with questions after every flight. 'Why did I hear this sound?' 'Has there really never been a plane crash due to turbulence?' 'Does such an air pocket really exist or not?' Well, it turns out to be really safe, but I'm still not convinced.,5. Didaskaleinophobia.

Um, well, I don't know if this phobia was genuinely present in anyone I know, but I find it funny that it exists. This is the name for the unrealistic fear of going to school. Before you start using it for not finishing your studies: it mainly occurs in the ages of 7 to 11. Perhaps a good excuse for why you messed up your CITO test back then.

6. Omphalophobia.

I personally have no trouble with this at all, but I have often heard that people feel uncomfortable or find it disgusting. This is the fear of navels. I'm curious about the people who have this; what are you afraid of? What is so disgusting or uncomfortable about it? Fascinating. By the way, this can also be about your own navel, which seems very awkward to me.

7. Arachnophobia.

Spiders. I don't need to say more, right?.
